Raffael’s is pleased to announce that the 8th Annual Raffael’s | Big Rico Classic will be held on Monday September 11, 2023!
In 2015, the Raffael’s family launched the Big Rico Classic, a Memorial Golf Tournament in honor of the late Rico Ricci, a very important pioneer of the Raffael’s family who passed far too early. Continuing in our tradition of supporting causes near and dear, The Big Rico classic looks to add to its over $75k in donations during its first 7 years!
We are thrilled to continue our support of a cause near and dear to us: The Hingham Police K-9 Unit! Did you know that the Hingham Police K9 Unit is primarily funded by donations? Donated funds are used to buy everything needed for the dogs’ daily life such as food, treats, cages, kennels, and leashes, as well as to equip the two specialty cruisers needed for the dogs to be on patrol. Donations also help to defray any medical costs incurred by the two dogs.
New this year, we are proud to announce that Team IMPACT will be added to our list of beneficiaries! Team IMPACT’s unique multiyear program matches children facing serious illness and disability with college athletic teams across the country, starting right here in Massachusetts. It’s their mission to guide children and teams alike in a mutually beneficial relationship of belonging, empowerment, and resilience. Through this program, Team IMPACT’s vision is to create a world where every child facing serious illness and disability feels supported by something bigger and every team is transformed by a greater purpose. Empowering all kids and teams to bond, grow and win – together!
